| Driving from Taipei , head South on National Freeway | National Freeway No.3 (Formosa Freeway) :
Take Freeway No.3 South to Wufong System Interchange(214km), change to Freeway No.6 East and exit at Ailan (29km). Turn left onto Provincial Highway No.14. Take right onto Provincial Highway No.21 just before the Ailan Bridge. Soon thereafter around 16 kilometers, you will arrive at The Lalu, Sun Moon Lake.
National Freeway No.1 (Sun Yat Sen Freeway, Zhong Shan Freeway) :Take Freeway No.1 South to Changhua System Interchange(192km), and change to Freeway No.3 South to Wufong System Interchange(214km), then change to Freeway No.6 East and exit at Ailan (29km) Turn left onto Provincial Highway No.14. Take right onto Provincial Highway No.21 just before the Ailan Bridge. Soon thereafter around 16 kilometers, you will arrive at The Lalu, Sun Moon Lake. |
Driving from Kaohsiung , head North on National Freeway | National Freeway No.3 (Formosa Freeway) : Take Freeway No.3 North and exit at Mingjian(236km). Take Provincial Highway No. East through JiJi to Shueili. Soon after passing Shueili Snake Kiln, turn left onto Provincial Highway No.21 at Dingkan. After around 17 kilometers, you will arrive at The Lalu, Sun Moon Lake.

Taiwan High Speed Rail | 1. Reservation has to be made and guaranteed 24 hours prior to the departure time.
2. The transportation fee for one way trip is NT$900 per adult, NT$450 for per child (under 12 years old).
3. Only hotel room guest can have access to this service.
4. At Taiwan High Speed Rail Taichung Station (THSR), the driver will wait for you in front of the passenger's service center in the main Hall (please see map).
5. Please arrive at the pick up place before the departure time of shuttle bus, the driver may delay its leaving by 5 minutes at most.
