Day 1 Shanghai City Tour

09:00-09:45 Hotel pick up transfer to Yu Garden.

09:45-12:00 Visit Yu Garden

Yuyuan Garden is a famous classical garden located in Anren Jie, Shanghai. It was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. Yu in Chinese means pleasing and satisfying, and this garden was specially built for Pan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age.

 

12:00-12:30 Yu Garden to Jujiazui Financial District

 

12:30-14:30 lunch in Century 100 on World Financial Center

 

14:30-15:00 Lujiazui Financial District transfer to Jin’an Temple

 

15:00-16:30 Jing An Temple

 

After lunch, you will go to visit Jingan Temple. The temple was first built in 247 AD in the Wu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period of ancient China. Originally located beside the Suzhou Creek, it was relocated to its current site in 1216 during the Song Dynasty. The current temple was rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty but, during the Cultural Revolution, the temple was converted into a plastic factory. In 1983, it was returned to its original purpose and renovated with the Jing'An Pagoda completed in 2010.

 

16:30-18:30 go to Jiu Guang Shopping mall Or Xintiandi for a walk

 

18:30-20:00 Dinner with Yvonne in Xintiandi

 

After dinner you will be transferred back to the hotel.

 


Day 2 Shanghai-Zhouzhuang-Shanghai


09:00-10:30  hotel pick up and transfer to Zhouzhuang

 

10:30-12:00  Visit Zhou Zhuang

Zhouzhuang is a popular tourist spot for Shanghai and Suzhou visitors. The town is built amid canals, ponds, and lakes. What makes it special are the old buildings and bridges, boat rides, crafts, and the quaint water town scenery. The canals that crisscross Zhouzhuang have many stone bridges, and some of them are ancient. About fourteen of these were built in the imperial era about 150 years ago or more. Representatives of these are the Twin Bridges, Fu'an Bridge, Zhenfeng Bridge and Fuhong Bridge.
 

12:00-13:30  Lunch in Zhouzhuang Restaurant

 

13:30-14:30  Visit Zhouzhuang

 

14:30-15:45   Zhouzhuang transfer to Pearl Market

 

15:45:18:10   Pearl Market

 

18:10-20:00   Dinner at Jiu Tun

 

After dinner, you will be transferred back to the hotel.


Day 3 Shanghai city tour

 

09:00-09:30 Hotel pick up transfer to People Square

 

09:30-11:30 Urban Planning Hall

Your tour guide will pick you update at 0830 and then go to visit People Square which is exactly in the center of Shanghai. The Grand Theature, Shanghai Museum and Shanghai Urban Planning Hall are all located in People Square. You will go into visit Urban Planning Hall. This hall was built to show the achievement of the city planning and construction. It has many functions, such as exhibition, reference, research, communication, recreation and entertainment. The main body of the building covers Shanghai's development from ancient times to the present and beyond. The theme of this building is 'City, People, Environment and Development'.

 

11:30-11:50 People Square transfer to Tian Zi Fang

 

11:50-13:30: Lunch @ Tianzifang

 

13:30-15:30 Visit Tian Zi Fang

 

15:30-15:50 Tianzifang transfer to Propoganda Museum

 

15:50-17:00: Propaganda Museum

The basement of an unmarked residential tower block just off Huashan Lu is an unlikely location for one of Shanghai's best museums. But the Shanghai Propaganda Poster Art Centre is just that, with owner Yang Peiming drawing together a vast, fascinating collection of over 5,000 propaganda posters, many rescued from recycling centres and rubbish bins and spanning from the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949 to the end of the Cultural Revolution in the late 1970s. 

 

17:00-18:00 Propoganda Museum transfer to Acrobatic ERA

 

18:00-19:30 Dinner near Acrobatic show

 

19:30-21:10 Acrobatic Show ERA

 

After that you will be transferred back to the hotel.
